Attributed to ULUV production - an Czechoslovakia organization formed in 1945 to promote traditional craftsmanship, short for Ústredie ľudovej umeleckej výroby (Centre for Folk Art Production). This newspaper stand is made of dark-stained solid oakwood with scissor framing to the sides and a top shelf that is black laminate. A beautiful element of constraining color corded rope that is woven into a support for newspaper. 1960s.
