One of leading lights of the Scandinavian Modernist movement, Børge Mogensen (1914-1972) - whose contribution to furniture design emphasized functional, democratic and durable designs. This desk uses contrasting solid oakwood for the top and drawers with a teakwood frame. A total of five drawers with shaped teak pulls and tapered legs. Model 130/1. Manufactured by Søborg Møbler, 1960s, Denmark.
