The safari chair tradition with a nod to the British military need for self-assembly found a most ardent follower in Arne Norell (1917-1971) who designed the Sirocco in 1964. Classic use of beautifully stitched heavy canvas strapped to a pegged ashwood frame without the use of glue or screws. Produced by Norell Möbel AB in Småland, Sweden. Late production.
Sold as a pair with matching table - set of three.
