Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts student Arne Hovmand-Olsen (1919-1989) started his own design studio at the age of 20 and went on to create a strong body of modernist design work that remains highly respected. This set of eight dining chairs is produced in a richly grained solid rosewood with an elegantly simple design and curved back. Newer gray leather seating in good condition. Manufactured by his long-term collaborator Mogens Kold Møbelfabrik in Denmark, late 1960s.
