Multitalented Marianne von Münchow (1917–2016) was a prominent Swedish interior designer and highly sought textile artist. This pair of chairs were designed at the start of her career as CEO and artistic director of Svensk Hemslöjd in 1956. Elegant form using solid beechwood framing that supports a self container rattan back rest that is attached with six leather straps. Newer white bouclé upholstery. Hemslöjd, Sweden. Sold as a pair.
