sculptural iron & marble floor lamp
One of the original founders of the Italian powerhouse lighting Milanese design company S.A. Arteluce in 1939, Maurizio Tempestini (1908-1960) went on to produce a wide range of design including the iconic wrought iron outdoor pieces for Salterini. This engaging floor lamp has brutalist features yet remains light and sculptural. Created using refined black finished iron connected to a triangular Italian Carrera marble base. Designed for the “Mostra della C.N.A. (Compagnia Nazionale Artigiana). Marble base is 12" on sides. 69" height to top of finial. New shade.
