1950S JENS THIRSLUND
small beechwood and glazed tile top side table
small beechwood and glazed tile top side table
Jens Thirslund was a Danish ceramic artist, glaze specialist, and designer, best known for his richly textured, deeply colored stoneware tiles. He worked closely with several Danish furniture makers—particularly Frits Henningsen—from the 1940s through the 1960s, supplying custom tile panels for tables, trays, and small furnishings. This stained beechwood square-form coffee table has delicate proportions and blue-green crystalline tiles.
