A striking Italian mid-century coffee table with a brightly enameled copper top in blue, white, lavender and gray - great modernist design. Sleek black lacquered metal base with matching trim around the top. Nicely contrasting lower wood stretcher for support and visual interest. Probably produced in 1950s by the Italian firm Siva Poggibonsi in Tuscany.
