This 1950s Danish armchair has a solid dark-stained teak frame with rosewood detailing to the "shoes" and original molded leather seat that was designed by lesser known Danish Harbo Sølvsten. An exceptional example of high-end Danish Modern seating, distinguished by its sculpted leather shell construction and refined cabinetmaking. Original leather shows honest wear, seat cushion later replacement in great wool with leather buttons. Produced as Model 112 at the Danish workshop I. C. A. Jensen.
