Danish modernist designer H. Brockmann-Petersen is best know for his curved back Model 166 armchair produced by cabinetmaker Louis G. Thiersen in Denmark. This larger lounge chair has a classic Scandinavian frame in solid oakwood and a pair of high-quality loose cushions. Beautiful dovetail joinery between the arms and legs. Recently updated in a reversible mens suiting fabric. Probably manufactured by Poul M. Jessen. Denmark 1950s.
