Swedish manufacturer AB Bröderna Wigells Stolfabrik has a long history of high-quality furniture designs from their Småland base. This 52" long bench was designed by Ebbe Wigell in 1952 and called the "Florida" bench (or pinnsoffa) with a curved backrest composed of twenty symmetrically arranged spindles. Top rail, tapered legs and horizontal stretchers for support. Wonderful patina. Sweden, 1950s.
