1950S CZECH
beechwood and golden corduroy easy chair
beechwood and golden corduroy easy chair
This 1950s armchair is a good example of mid-century Central European design, most likely Czech or Polish in origin, from the postwar period when furniture combined streamlined modern forms with traditional comfort. Solid beechwood frame with gently sculpted arms that curve upward with mustard-yellow ribbed velvet corduroy button-tufted on the backrest. Probably manufactured by TON (Továrny na ohýbaný nábytek) in Czechoslovakia, 1950s.
Sold individually, one available.
