Andrées Fabriks AB was a noted Swedish mid-century manufacturer that often completed larger-scale school and institutional furniture projects, especially stackable seating. This classic Scandinavian utilitarian designed chair has a simple modernist solid oakwood frame with original woven linen strap seating and a small underlying shelf for books. Produced at their factory starting in the 1950s in Ruda, Sweden.
