Hans J. Wegner (1914–2007) was a renowned Danish furniture designer, often regarded as a pioneer of Danish modern design. Known for his mastery of wood and dedication to craftsmanship. This rocking chair was designed in 1944 with continuous production through today in solid beechwood. Tall spindle back and beautifully woven paperboard seat. Classic loose cushions in checquered wool. Manufactured by FDB Møbler, Denmark.
