A unique armchair (we have two) that celebrates the rural Swedish craftsmanship from the 18th and 19th centuries. Produced during a national romantic Allmoge revival in the early 1900s focusing on Swedish identity and Nordic heritage. This armchair has softened square form with organic use of corded/woven hemp seating that speaks to a rural setting. This reinterpreted Allmoge armchair includes decorative handprinted faux burl to the frame including an alternating orange hued stripe along the arm and front decor. Exceptional.....
