lacquered wood, cherry & brass coffee table
lacquered wood, cherry & brass coffee table
Paolo Malchiodi was part of the Milanese and Lombard school of designers and architects active in the 1940s–1960s, a milieu that included Gio Ponti, Paolo Buffa and Ico Parisi. Constructed with a white lacquered top, sculpted cherry wood legs and cross-bar brass stretcher - drawing on rationalist geometry softened by sculptural curves. The 39" coffee table was designed in Milan and constructed in Brianza or Cantù, Italy.
