This solid mahogany rocking chair is a characteristic example of the work of Klaus Wettergren, a Danish cabinetmaker active in mid-century. Tall, slightly tapered backrest composed of vertical mahogany slats, squared armrests with flat upper surfaces and slatted seating - subtly contoured for comfort. Late 1940s.
