set six French provincial oak & natural rush dining chairs
set six French provincial oak & natural rush dining chairs
This charming French oak and rush dining chair, likely from the 1940s–1960s, embodies the country-modern aesthetic that bridged rural craft and modern simplicity in mid-century France. Solid oakwood square framing with angled backs and central "I" stretcher for stability. Nice half-moon cut out detail to the back top rail. Seat is a traditional hand-woven natural rush en diagonale (diagonal) pattern.
Set of six.
