An early 1940s console or dressing table likely produced in the Netherlands with a clean and rectilinear form. Four fluted drawers at front on a raised cabinet structure give it a light, modernist stance while still referencing earlier neoclassical traditions. Unusual red leather panel decor and slightly oversized round wooden pulls. Good craftsmanship, unknown manufacture.
