A near pair of c1940 or late 1930s armchairs likely produced in a smaller Danish workshop - one that merging local cabinetmaking skill with historicist English and French design influences. 44" tall seat back with a rounded top supporting upturned mini-wings. Generously proportioned seating with turned supports and curved ends. Complimentary base with turned legs and detailed lower stretcher. Currently in a blue striped wool fabric - in need of new upholstery. Priced as a pair in as-is condition.
