This is a classic Danish 1940s easy chair, a form that bridges prewar comfort traditions and the early modern Scandinavian design language. It evolved from the English wingback and French bergère traditions with a lighter, cleaner local Danish taste for "hygge". Classic curved back silhouette with generous arms over beechwood legs. More recently upholstered in a gorgeous rust red mohair with contrast piping.
