"1000 Series" flame birch desk, Bodofors

A beautiful and rare 1940s desk design by Axel Larsson (1898-1975). Constructed in a bright flame birchwood veneer that makes the desk sparkle. The primary side has two narrow top drawers, a right-side vertical cabinet with two selves and at left are four wood pull-out trays. Its most interesting feature is that the desk is meant to face outward in a room with the facing side displaying the full beauty of the curved side with an open shelf.
