An exceptional example of the luxurious warmth of the Swedish Grace design period from 1920s to mid 1930s that bridged Neoclassicism and Modernism, blending refined geometry and elegant restraint with high-craft marquetry and light ornament. This large 2-door cabinet has a deeply stained walnut case over stylized lion's feet. Each door has matching marquetry of neoclassical motifs in burl walnut, elm and maple with perfect Art Deco circular metal pulls. Interior in a contrasting shimmering flame birch with inset campaign-style brass pulls to drawers. The has been fully restored.
