One of the most celebrated of the early modernist Czech designer with strong Art Deco and Bauhaus influences. This 1930s footstool / tabouret / ottoman has a terrific vintage upholstery over a tapered square form, recently upholstered in a vintage German grain sack. Set of centered wood feet make a wonderful design statement. Produced by UP Závody in Brno in Czech, 1930s.
