pair dark-stained beechwood Novocentro armchairs
pair dark-stained beechwood Novocentro armchairs
A wonderful pair of Italian armchairs from the early–mid 1930s, belonging to the Novecento / Rationalist transitional period—a moment when Italian furniture shifted from late Art Deco curves toward the more architectural, structured forms of Italian Rationalism. A gently tripartite scalloped back and long softly arched arms using a dark-stained beechwood with a period-appropriate striped fabric. Sold as a pair.
