The 1930s was a period when crystallography was central to chemistry and mineralogy curricula, and models were widely used in classrooms. Czechoslovakia had a strong tradition of producing scientific teaching models, especially through universities in Prague and Brno. Each of these 1930s polyhedral forms in black bakelite with white edging represents a possible crystal habit or lattice structure.
