pair of Art Deco reclining beechwood armchairs
pair of Art Deco reclining beechwood armchairs
Czechoslovakia was one of Europe’s leaders in modernist design in the interwar years particular elevating bentwood traditions started by Thonet. This pair of exceptional lounge chairs is a blend of machine-age functionalism and organic curves, typical of Czechoslovak modern furniture of the late 1920s–30s. Solid beechwood frames have a distinct Art Deco design reference with a slatted back that includes a functionalist metal adjustment feature. Czech.
Sold as a pair. Priced "as is" - we can help with new upholstery.
