1930S ART DECO
small elm rootwood hall cabinet, bakelite handles
small elm rootwood hall cabinet, bakelite handles
Unknown manufacture - though possibly a Swedish Art Deco period design from the 1930s. This is a very low 15" tall cabinet originally designed for a hallway and constructed in a richly figured root elmwood veneer prized for its swirling, organic grain patterns. Three small drawers and an open cabinet are offset by the rounded open shelving with original red bakelite drawer pulls that offer a splash of color contrast. Missing its originally fitted mirror.
