five drawer rosewood desk w/brass handles & gallery
An elegant Danish writing desk from the 1960s, crafted in richly figured rosewood with brass hardware. Five drawers are arranged across the front, with a wide central drawer suspended between two banks of smaller drawers with a nicely carved gallery. Curved brass handles and discreet key escutcheons provide a warm counterpoint to the rosewood. Gently tapered legs give the substantial case a surprisingly light profile. Unknown manufacture. Denmark. Price includes full refinish.
