high gloss glazed ceramic "Floren" coffee table
high gloss glazed ceramic "Floren" coffee table
Roger Capron was one of the leading figures of postwar French ceramics, known for transforming traditional pottery techniques into modern furniture and architectural design. Working from his Côte d'Azur studio in Vallauris, he created richly textured tiles—often inspired by nature—that became iconic elements of mid-century interiors. This highly glazed example in a floral motif supported by a dark-stained beechwood frame. Signed in tile. 1970s, France.
