French-Swiss husband-and-wife design team of Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet redefine French modernism during the 1940s and 1950s, they rejected the luxury materials and ornament of Art Deco in favor of natural, accessible materials. These stools use thick twisted rope that is braided into a circular top and set on three heavy turned oakwood legs. Later production (1965-1975) near Vallauris on the Côte d'Azur, France. Sold individually. Three available.
