classic tripod provincial modern oakwood stools
classic tripod provincial modern oakwood stools
Typically associated with the Jura region of France that produced “modern rustic” furniture during the mid-century years. Though slightly brutalist in nature, this solid oakwood pair has sculpted irregular hexagonal form and could also have been produced in other French workshops c1960-1975 such as Brittany and Auvergne. Conical faceted legs with visible joinery made these very special. Sold individually, pair available.
