Neoclassical Revival 80" leather clad long bench
A wonderful pair of English Neoclassical Revival benches, a period that ran from the 1940s to 1960s with a return to the classical design vocabulary of the Georgian, Adam, and Regency periods. Long 80" architectural form in mahogany with square tapered legs and a fine recessed line detailing on the legs. Covered in a light patinated leather with much wear and coloration change due to time and use. For a hallway, behind a sofa or the end of a king sized bed. England c1950s. Sold individually, pair available.
