four leather wrapped U-8 chairs for Cassina
Celebrated architect Mario Bellini (b. 1935) has been an influential Italian modernist since the 1960s and has made a significant contribution to urban planning and industrial/furniture design. He was a consummate innovator - and nothing more alluring than his fully leather wrapped chairs (skin) over an aluminum skeletal frame. This set in a luscious brown leather with contrasting black leather trim. Unlike the all-leather CAB chair, the U-8 line offers offer lacquered beechwood legs and frame with a uniquely stylish top arch to the back legs. Three side chairs and one armchair. Sold as a set of four. Designed in 1970s and produced in Italy by Cassina, Medina. Dims for side chair - armchair has 24" width.
