This chair is a vintage Art Deco-style club chair, often referred to as a "Fauteuil Club" or "Chauffeuse" - and originating in France in the 1920s and 1930s. Such club chairs were widely used in gentlemen's clubs, hotels, and private lounges. This pair with a lovely rich cognac leather in very good condition with rounded arms and a square back. Brass tacks to the back. 20th century French or European production. Sold individually, pair available.
