Early version of the iconic chair originally designed 1958 for the lobby of the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen by Arne Jacobsen.  Created to be lightweight (foam and fiberglass) and easy for hotel staff to move.  Produced by Danish powerhouse Fritz Hansen.  This chair has incredible patina to the original black leather - now faded with use to show the brown hide underneath.  Later black leather cushion.  Exceptional.
