Classic minimalist sofa by Italian designer Piero Ranzani - who created the "Romantico" series of furniture for Elam in Italy in the mid-1960s. This 3-seat sofa has clean and unadorned lines with a lower teakwood frame supporting a fully upholstered series of cushions - single seat, three for the back and a pair of side arm cushions. The back is a floating panel connected by steel plates. Square metal foot caps. c1966, Italy.
