2-seat light cognac leather Model 2212 sofa
Børge Mogensen (1914–1972) was a leading figure of Danish Modern design whose philosophy centered on honest materials, craftsmanship, and human-scale comfort, which helped define postwar Scandinavian design. This series began in 1963 with sofas and chairs tailored for conversation and formal seating using a sculpted square form - with this 2-seat sofa a perfect example. A light cognac leather with oakwood legs. Later production by Fredericia Stolefabrik, Model 2212, Denmark.
