Muti-talented Danish designer Svend Langkilde started his own firm in 1953, Langkilde Design (1923-2012), and went on to win numerous prestigious awards throughout his career. He produced a large range of products with attention to functionality. This coffee table has a 39" square frame in solid mahogany with a beautifully beveled trim. The top is a series of five shimming brown slate panels with iridescence that are trimmed in mahogany. Contrasting rosewood corners. Produced by Svend Langkilde, Denmark.
