Multi-talented Italian designer, artist and musician Luciano Frigerio (1928-1999) often added a touch of whimsy to his furniture pieces. This lounge chair has a shaped dark-stained hardwood frame that takes clues from Japanese designs and aptly named "Samurai." Four loose cushions are connected with heavy leather strapping wrapped thru the frame and metal buckles. Very cool lounge chair. Italy, 1970s
