Brazilian architect Percival Lafer set the tone starting in the 1960s for bold modernist designs using solid hardwoods and overstuffed leather upholstery. This similar lounge chair from the 1970s has generous proportions and was possibly a French manufacture - though not clear. It has a dark-stained solid oakwood frame with typical brutalist angled legs. Paneled light leather seating supported by a canvas sling has great patina.

Sold individually, pair available.
