The safari chair tradition with a nod to the British military need for self-assembly found a most ardent follower in Arne Norell (1917-1971) who designed the Sirocco in 1964. Classic use of beautifully stitched saddle leather strapped to a pegged rosewood frame without the use of glue or screws. This version in sought after avocado green.
