Attributed to Cesare Lacca (b. 1929) - but more likely produced in one of the many post-war artisanal workshop around Rome or Florence. Minimalist refinement - with a top in a geometric mosaic of multicolored onyx stones in rich rust, ochre, and terracotta to pale green, alabaster, and creamy white. Polished with rounded corners - sits over delicate tapered and splayed brass legs. The central brass stretcher under the table has a wonderful cut-out detail. Italy, 1950s.
