The Italian furniture maker founded by Fernando Paleari was a highly respected Italian manufacturer in the important Lombardy town of Cantù.  This small console is an exquisite example of the sumptuous designs produced in the region.  The case is constructed in a pear wood - used for its bright visual.  Tall delicate legs have lower metal side stretchers for strength and a beautifully carved back brace that accents the console.  Small integrated drawer sits just below the gorgeous green/brown 43" onyx top.  Produced in the late 1940s by Mobilificio Paleari in Cantù.
