Both rustic and modernist, Charles Dudouyt (1885-1946) was a prolific creator of furniture and decorative design. This single oakwood chair would have been produced post-war at his Paris manufacturing company, La Gentilhommière. His signature concentric circle embellishment to the back is supported by his classic use of ornately carved corkscrew legs. Woven and corded rush seating. Seat height is 16.2"
