One of the most influential Czech designers, Jindřich Halabala (1903-1978), who embraced modernism after working from a young age at his family's cabinetmaking shop. He went on to create standardized production practices that allowed the firm to flourish. This exceptional dressing table with Art Deco references is bathed in a beautiful walnut veneer. A pair of connected and rounded side cabinet support a large oval mirror. Produced at the UP Závody factory in Brno Czech late 1930s to early 1940s. This piece will receive a full a refinish after arriving to Hudson. Dimensions pending.
