Industrial designer and architect Hans Olsen (1919-1992) worked under Kaare Klint before opening his own studio is 1953 - he went on to create a large body of highly regarded pieces for the leading Scandinavian mid-century companies. His Model 9015 lounge chair was an instant success - with clean lines and ergonomic structure. This pair has solid oakwood framing and light suede wrapped over the padded back with a loose fitted seat. Contrasting teakwood arms. Produced in the 1960s by Gärsnäs in Sweden.
