Originally presented by one of the most important designers who studied under the Bauhaus school in the 1920s Erich Dieckmann (1896-1944). This armchair from the 1950s takes clues from his architectural framing and organic use of corded rope. Solid beechwood arms with a nice lacquered finish, single bentwood piece from leg to arm and a radiating arm posts. Classic scoop seating in woven rope. Unknown manufacture.
