This highly regarded armchair by one of the leading mid-century Scandinavian modernist designers, Erik Kirkegaard (1926-1986) - who created simple and elegant pieces. His classic armchair was an instant success with a sturdy side "A" frames and comfortable arm position. This version in solid oakwood with black skai leather in good condition. Manufactured by Høng Stolefabrik on the Danish island of Zealand in the 1950s-60s.
