Wonderful features abound in these mid-century French country chairs. The chair's most distinctive feature is the series of bulbous, spool-like turnings along the legs, stretchers, and the backrest. The turnings resemble the bobbins used in weaving and give the chair its name. This version is constructed as a corner chair with classic French woven rush seating and lathe turned frame. France, 1960s.
